Announcing Good Shepherd’s New Worship Service
Beginning April 27th at 5 p.m.

We are pleased to announce the launching of our new worship service at Good Shepherd called Intersections. We will gather for worship at 5 p.m. with a new format of worship designed to engage people at their Intersections of faith and life. Come as you are for an informal worship designed to blend the cutting edge with the traditional styles of worship.

We welcome children to our worship services and try to encourage their feeling of belonging to our worshiping community. Children’s bulletins are available from the ushers. Rainbow Bags hang on stands in the narthex. Young children may take these bags of soft toys into worship and then return them after the service.

The Children’s Care Center is located on the upper level of the southeast wing of the building. We offer child care for infants and young children, six weeks to three years of age. Special Time, for ages three to six years, is offered during the 11:00 a.m. worship service, after Storytime in Room 220.

Large print bulletins and portable hearing devices are available for use during worship services. Wheelchairs are available for those who need assistance. Please ask an usher for help.

An elevator is available in the southwest area of the narthex hallway. Handicapped parking is available in the small lot in front of the narthex entrance on France Avenue and 48th Street.

Summer worship takes place in the courtyard at 8:30 a.m., and at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday of each month as well as at other special services.
